Abstract

In this paper proposes on DC to DC buck converter of high efficiency by soft switching technique. The DC- DC converter plays an important role in power conversion. Like computer power supplies, switching mode regulators are used in these applications. The Control action of buck converter involves maintaining a constant output voltage in the presence of change in load and supply voltage conditions. The PI controller behaves very effectively and has maintained constant output voltage subject to the input voltage and load variations. In this paper design and simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK of buck converter output voltage using PI controller is presented.
