Abstract

In this paper an equivalent circuit model of impulse voltage generator with capacitive load of bushing is analyzed by simulation method. The effect on the R1, R2 that is front and tail resistance respectively with variation in ratio C1/C2 by using different stages of equivalent circuit model of impulse voltage generator has been analyzed for a standard impulse wave (1.2/50µs). The ratio C1/C2 decreases with the increase in number of stages in equivalent circuit model of impulse voltage generator for the same capacitive load of bushing.
