The high data rate Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) with high spectral efficiency and its ability to soften the possessions of multipath makes them appropriate in wireless application. Impulsive noise twists the OFDM transmission and thus methods must be explored to conquer this noise consequence. Various efficient impulsive noise reduction schemes are already proposed for low order modulation and higher order modulation such as QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM. In this paper, impact of Middletons Class A man-made noise is simulated and reduced in OFDM transmission by using 256 QAM modulation scheme. |
