Abstract

To locate bugs in program is most tedious and time consuming activity which requires great effort on part of programmer, to locate exact location of faults is called as fault localization. There is a need to make fault localization process effective in its own unique and creative way for which work is already going on and many techniques exist for same e.g. branch, statement, data dependency, these techniques have their own advantages but also have few shortcomings like overhead of statements etc. our proposed technique focuses on fault localization and test case prioritization. By doing this our technique identifies fault as earlier as possible. Finally our result analysis shows that our prioritization is more suitable for statement coverage, branch coverage and DU-pair coverage.
