For the treatment of industrial and municipal wastewater aerobic and anaerobic systems have been employed for many years. This paper provides a review of the various types of both anaerobic and aerobic techniques for the treatment of wastewater. A wide variety of technologies for wastewater treatment are available, which include both aerobic and anaerobic treatment processes. This paper reviews about different treatment technologies, along with their characteristic features. |
