Abstract |
The Hybrid couplers are the bidirectional couplers which can give equal power split and 180° phase shift between the two output ports. The DGS with hybrid rings can be fabricated and measured at operating frequency 2.4 GHz. The results of hybrid ring using DGS are compared with the conventional rat-race hybrid coupler S-parameter. By using the DGS in hybrid rings we can reduce the large amount of size and avoid harmonic signal in hybrid rings. This paper shows the DGS is more advantageous for hybrid coupler. We are comparing DGS with dumbbell shape; DGS with rectangle and hybrid coupler. We are using methodologies such as HFSS simulation, Photolithographic process and testing on vector network analyzer. |
