Abstract |

Today’s networks and computers attackers consume the many resources of the victim and the server. The victims computational power is also consumed by flooding the channel with large amount of useless packets and jamming the network. This problem results in performance degradation and consumes a large amount of traffic and the bandwidth of the victim. Denial of Service (DoS) attack is the severe attack launched by malicious users on a victim that could be a host or an entire network. This paper considers various ways to detect the Dos attack. Detection would also maximize the expected average estimation error and save time and energy. |
