Effective caching of videos at the base stations of the Radio Access Network (RAN) can be used to significantly improve the video capacity and user experience of mobile networks. Several caching algorithms can be used to ensure the effectiveness of RAN caches. Here, we discuss the several algorithms used for caching in the RAN. |
