Abstract

This paper present implementation method for wireless automatic meter reading system by using GSM network. As the GSM has vast coverage area and cost effective. The main objective of this project is to develop wirelessly based automatic energy meter reading displayed for units consumed and its cost thereupon over to GSM system. For this innovative work we are interfacing microcontroller 89S52 with energy meter. The blinking LED flashes 3200 times for one unit the microcontroller takes the reading this reading displayed on consumer LCD display.
