Abstract |

A wireless sensor network consists of a number of sensors which are spatially distributed and are capable of computing, communicating and sensing.NS2 is an event driven simulation tool that is useful in studying the dynamic nature of computer networks. Here we are going to implement a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) in NS2 (Network Simulator version2) based on the principle of Adaptive Multi-Topology Traffic Engineering (AMPLE). The present thesis proposes Adaptive Multi –Topology Traffic Engineering a novel algorithm for dynamic traffic engineering. The main objective of AMPLE is to distribute load within a network domain, trying to offload congested links and paths by responding to the observed traffic conditions in real-time. |
