Abstract |

Effective learning encourages us to look at the work around us, add value for our customers and remove extra steps that waste our time and resources. We need a method of streamlining processes, resulting in increased revenue, reduced costs and improved customer satisfaction and comply with customer perception. A lean process is faster, efficient, as achieved by removing waste and economical as activities not required to complete a process are suspended. They thus deliver satisfactory quality. To cut flab or defects Lean and Six Sigma are two prescribed tools. After removing waste, only the steps required to produce a product or service that is satisfactory to a customer will remain. There is thus a case in making above attributes waste free and contribute to excellence in Education. |
