Sensor area in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) consist of numerous wireless nodes that need to communicate with each other in order to send information to base station. In many applications these nodes are deployed in hostile environment, therefore finding locations of these nodes becomes a noteworthy issue. Better localization will enhance the life time of wireless sensor networks. The main features and drawbacks of the various localization techniques used in literature has been discussed in this paper. |
