The study and reconstruction of crime scenes has always intrigued common man. Determination of the identity of individuals relevant to a crime scene plays an integral role in forensic investigation and the associated medico-legal practices. This paper proposed a computer based system that could effectively predict the gender of an individual using SVM basic kernel functions. |
