Data is the collection of raw facts from the real world. We can use this data for various purposes for some betterment, such as to increase the sales of particular product. But small databases have various problems and it does not support Information Extraction as it can only run few queries. So to solve this problem a new concept was arising called as Data warehouse which stores huge amount of data without any problem. In addition to this Data Mining is the concept which is used to extract useful information from tis data warehouse. This paper gives an overview of Data warehouse and Data Mining. We have included some Tools and Applications of both. |
