For high capacity transmission such as broadband we require high speed. Therefore a combination of radio frequency with optical fiber is proposed known as radio over fiber. [1, 2] With the advent of this technique the system cost reduces because there is no need to design uplink and downlink. The application of radio over fiber includes cable television, network design, and uplink and downlink design and in satellite base station. In this paper we discuss the different modulation schemes for radio over fiber system. |
