Abstract |

Nowadays, all banks offer their banking services over the Internet in addition to traditional banking. As a result, user may access their accounts, transfer funds between accounts, view their online bank account statements, Pay their bills and conduct another banking transaction electronically through the bank’s Website 24 hours a day and all 7 days in a week. As the number of customers using Internet banking increases, internet banking system are becoming more desirable targets for cyber criminals to attack. This makes the task for protecting messages confidentiality is a greater challenge for the banking Industry. In this research paper, we review current scenario (cases reported, motives) of cybercrimes. In next section, we use Paired t-test to check significant difference between the reported cases of cybercrime in the year 2015 over 2014. To review and analyze the current scenario of cybercrimes, we used reports of National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) as secondary data. In the last, we have given preventive measures and some suggestions for the safely use of Internet banking services. |
