Cloud computing has become a new computing paradigm that effects several different research fields, including software testing. Testing cloud applications has its intrinsic features which demand for novel testing methods and tools. We all are aware that cloud computing also facilitates and provides opportunities for the development of more effective and scalable software testing techniques. With this paper we present a systematic survey of published results attained by the union of these two research fields. We provide an viewpoint about contributions, trends, opportunities, challenges and possible research directions. We have provided a review of software testing over the cloud literature. |
