Abstract |

The exhaust system of the vehicle is one of the main components in the vehicles as it is useful to reduce the vibration, noise and air pollution. The efficient automobile should be in proper working condition so that it is necessary to be well designed and clearly analysed. The simulation results from the computer aided engineering method can be accepted in the manufacturing of the vital part and which can be fitted in the exhaust system of the vehicle. Muffler is the important part in the exhaust system as it carries the whole system. So in our project we concentrated more on to this component. Extensive work has been carried out on static analysis, dynamic analysis, modal analysis, pressure analysis and life of the component by approaching FEA method. |
