Abstract |

Data Security and privacy plays a crucial role when comes to electronic health records as it contains sensitive information. Data Security is referred to as the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of data. It is also referred as, the practices and processes that are in place to ensure data isn't being used or accessed by unauthorized individuals or parties. Data security ensures that the data is protected and reliable and is available when those with authorized access need it .Data Privacy is the appropriate use of data. When it is given to trusted sources, the data should be used according to the stated purposes. This paper presents a review of various security and privacy measures for Electronic Health Records. |
