Fuzzy logic controller follows the principle of fuzzy logic, where the truth values of variables maybe 0 or 1. A fuzzy logic controller is used to compute wash time of a washing machine by combining and integrating three independent criteria to calculate a precise wash time. The proposed controller employs the use of membership functions for the fuzzification and defuzzification processes, which converts the fuzzy input values to a crisp output value. |
