Abstract |
|
In recent years, power generation has taken an smart step in generating, transmitting and distributing the electrical power with development in technologies. The literature suggests that over 30% to 40% of electrical power is lost during transmission and distribution because of many technical and non-technical losses occurring in the path. A survey is presented in the paper about the process of delivering the power from generation to consumer and losses occurring during process, the possible techniques for mitigating the losses and improving the efficiency of system. |
