Abstract

This paper presents the modeling and stress analysis of a manually operated digger for plantation of horticulture crop. Helical blade arrangements are presented with the potential for removing soil from earth to reduce plantation time. 3-D model of digger is conceptualized and stress analyses done using FEA simulation for safe design.
