Implementation and Simulation of EDCF in VOIP under Wireless LAN

Abstract

These works present the simulation and modeling of the IEEE 802.11 standards to improve the Quality of service. EDCF protocol to analyze and evaluate the performance of VOIP that based on wireless LAN by using encoding scheme G.711. The simulation modeling was simulated by OPNET software 17.5. Different parameters which represent the QoS like Media Access Delay, Load, Network Load, Data dropped (Retry Threshold Exceeded),Data Dropped (Buffer Overflow) are calculated and analyze as well as compared wlan jammer and wlan without jammer in Wireless LAN. Jammer which jams the signals and interferences.
