Abstract

This study contains theoretical analysis of Narrow band Microstrip slotted patch antenna with Single feed by using Antenna Design Software. In our simulations, FR4 epoxy was used as dielectric material with relative permittivity of 4.4. The antenna been designed for (860MHz-960MHz) frequency range. Hence, the antenna is highly suitable for RFID applications at operating frequencies of 860MHz and 960MHz respectively. The various critical design parameters such as bandwidth, return loss, directivity and VSWR have been investigated. The fabricated antenna is suitable for radio frequency identification (RFID) applications at 860MHz.
