Abstract |
|
Detection of exudates in fundus images using background subtraction method is proposed in this paper. Firstly image acquisition is done by using special fundus cameras[5]. Average filtering technique is used to smoothen the image to remove the noise that is present in image. Weighted surface fitting and background subtraction is used in fundus image and the unwanted data i.e. opticdisk, bloodvessels. fovea, laser marks and lessions are detected without segmentation[1]. The estimated background is subtracted from the image and then exudates are detected from foreground of image. |
