Abstract |
|
Roller performance is one of the major concern of any re-rolling mill. This involves important decisions like whether to use roller for future preferences or not, etc. The objectives of the company is always to keep their rollers in good condition for as long as possible. The effectiveness of roller is measured by amount of stress and deflection acting on it. In this regard, it is particularly important to identify factors that influence getting the desired or undesired stresses &deflection & their influence on the rollers performance. This paper aims is to realize an analysis of these factors and their degree of correlation on roller performance using multiple regression. |
