The over-current protection relay is that the most extensively used part to safeguard power systems from the prejudicious effects of faults. Wrong settings in overcurrent relay parameters will cause false tripping or maybe bypassing fault conditions which might cause a catastrophe. Thus it's vital to validate the settings of power protection instrumentality and to verify its performance once subject to completely different fault conditions.
