Abstract |
In this paper, the method is aimed at creating safer roadways with intelligent light system to reduce power consumption. This system has automatic street light intensity control based on the vehicular movement and switching on and off of street lights depending on the light ambiance. This will help in reducing the power consumption during hours of meager road usage. The street light module is installed consequently for every certain distance. In this paper by using PSoC the object such as vehicle, bicycle, human beings animal are detected with the help of motion sensors or Light sensor like LDR. According to the movement or light, the light of street will be switch on or off. Sensors sense the motion from certain distance or sense light from the vehicle and turn light on or off. This paper is based on PSoC .This project is very useful for street lights for automation lighting system. This system switches on the lights only in darkness. No battery back-up is required. This is a simple, fit and forget system. |
