Abstract |
|
Present study deals with the past literature survey which explain that in piston that is part of internal combustion engine and sustain high range of temperature inside the engine cylinder. The parameters used for the investigation is operating gas pressure, temperature and material functions of piston. In I.C. Engine piston is most difficult and essential element as a result for smooth running of vehicle, piston should be in proper working condition. Piston fails mostly because of mechanical stresses and thermal stresses. This study deals with the thermal loads which are acting on surface of piston and causes failure. The objectives of this paper are to study costs and materials optimization with the help of stress analysis by FEA technique. The designation material of these components is steel alloy. |
