Abstract |
Fertilizers are used in large manner in modern agriculture, for improving crop yield. The study aim to analyze impact of fertilizer industry effluent on ground water and soil. During present investigation the water sample collected from area surrounding fertilizer industry located in saoner, dist. Nagpur (M.H.). The ground water as well as soil sample collected per month for a period of five month. Ground water analyzed for water quality parameters such as Ph, hardness, chloride, alkalinity, DO, and to assess the soil parameter like specific gravity, moisture content, bulk density and compared with standard value prescribed by WHO. From study it is concluded that, fertilizer industry effluent has severe impact on ground water and soil. |
