An automated toll collection system using RFID used for collecting tax automatically. Electronic toll collection system allows the vehicle drivers to pass the toll tax booths without stopping at the toll booths. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and tracks tag attached to objects that tag contains electronically stored information. By using RFID technology automated toll collection system performs the collection of toll taxes electronically by net banking. If the balance is not in the account it should be pay manually in the toll. These communications between the vehicle owner and the system takes place through RFID technology. As vehicles don’t have to stop in a queue, this translates to reduce. Traffic congestion at toll plazas and helps in lower fuel consumption. This is very important advantages of this system. |
