Abstract |

A dual band band pass filter (BPF) using Split ring resonators has been designed and analyzed in this paper. In this filter, there are two section either open/short circuited Stepped Impedance Resonators (SIRs) are coupled in parallel with Uniform-impedance Resonator Ring as the basic filter block. The proposed circuit is classified into different parallel parts, the proper coupling between two SIRs and Ring resonators results in a band. Thus, there appears a reflection zero in each pass band and three transmission zeros appears both side of the desired pass band to improve the out-of-band rejection. |
