Abstract |
Since 1990s, it has become an important topic of research in Computer Science and Technology. This paper explains about the concept of Grid Computing. Grid Computing is the collection of computer resources from multiple location to reach a common goal. The grid can be thought of as a distributed system with non-interactive workloads that involve a large number of files. The concept of Grid differs from that of parallel computing and supercomputers. Here, the need of grid computing and its security concerns are provided. It has various types and components that are described. As grid computing is rapidly emerging as a dominant and important area of wide area distributed computing. Also, explained that how the steps take place in Grid and its architecture. |
