Abstract |
An aortic aneurysm is a dilation of the aorta at the abdominal or thoracic level which is a life threatening complications with an 80% mortality rate. Advances in monitoring devices keep improving but there is an increase in the the failure rate of endovascular treatment. To overcome those problem we design the monitoring system for aneurysm after stent placement. The system validate sac pressure, blood pressure, diameter changes in the valve and also displacement of the stent. The device comprised of pressure sensors, accelerometer and the processing system. The device is controlled and monitored from outside. The aortic aneurysm is predicted by the alarm produced in the system while the abnormal conditions occur. |
