Abstract |

this paper presents the study of pile foundation, Raft Foundation and Pile-Raft foundation. The foundations were designed manually as well as they were designed by SAFE software. The safe bearing capacity of soil was kept constant in the designs and the economical foundation was found out. Pile foundation was found to be economical. The software results showed less reinforcement than in manual designs. |
