Electricity theft can be done in different form such as Meter tampering, billing irregularities and unpaid bills. The power theft is most widely used done according to surrey. By tampering or bypassing meter the power is steal usually .Here the system me have designed will detected the power theft line and inform it to the nearest substation, Basically in this project the electricity theft monitored and detected by comparing the meter as DP and homes. Electricity supplied by distribution point and home meter is compared by microcontroller. If this is deference of power until between the two than the relay at the DP will switch Off/Cut Off power supply at the particular home meter. At the same line the Global system of mobile communication to the responding substation will be send. |
