Abstract |

Zero tilt verification, for footing subjected to incline loading using an inclined projection has been attempted in this paper. The type of footing used for the analysis is known as the “Angle Shaped Footingâ€. Inclined as well as eccentric loading can be handled by this type of footing. The tile can be determined by substantially varying the length and the angle of the projection and then accordingly determining the tilt of the footing. Since, zero tilt condition is of uttermost importance, the results and the graphs have been plotted for the same. The readymade package ‘ANSYS’ has been used for conducting the finite element analysis of the footing. |
