Abstract

Now a day’s pollution is increasing in huge amount and fossil fuels are the major reason of causing pollution, also fossil fuels are on the verge of extinction in future. So the present study aims for a hydrogen based internal combustion engine is making pollution free environment and providing cheaper fuel. Conducted experiments on a hydrogen based engine equipped with a HHO kit. Using electrolysis process, the kit producing fresh hydrogen gas. Engine’s performance is measured by Prony Break dynamometer and its result is compared with standard petrol engine. Necessary developments on characteristic model features lead to a distinctive model for a hydrogen engine. It is demonstrated that the proposed model attains a consistently high prediction quality for a broad range of engine calibration variability.
