This article describes Short Circuit Analysis on a 6-bus power System. For Short Circuit Studies, MiPower software is utilized which is extremely featured and exceedingly collaborative. This paper describes the power system characteristics in the course of short circuit state and will act as a route in the plan of the protective scheme for the undertaken circuit. Short Circuit studies carried out on any power system provides the maximum fault current and fault MVA rating and according to the results achieved, the design of an effective protective system can be chalked out. |
