Abstract |
In an era of climate change, alternate energy source are desired to replace oil and carbon resources. Subsequently, climate change effect in some areas and the increasing production of bio fuels are also putting pressure on available water resources. Microbial fuel cell have the potential to simultaneously treat waste water for re use and to generate electricity, thereby producing to increasingly scarce resources. While the microbial fuel cell has generated interest in the waste water treatment field, knowledge is still limited and many fundamental and technical problem remain to be solved microbial fuel cell technology represent in new form of renewable energy by generating electricity from what would otherwise we considered waste, such as industrial waste or waste water etc.. |
