Abstract

The article presents basic data on a 5 kW (rooftop) solar PV plant installed on the building of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (ME building) in GF’s GCOE Jalgaon and the equipment for the estimation of its performance and energy efficiency depending on the real climate conditions (inverter, communication system, automatic meteorological station, etc.). The corrosion of structure made from metal required for solar plate supporting frame is important consideration aimy with the life of structure. In this regard, only galvanized steel frames are generally used for film making structure. The economy, live and of these structure in is equally important and in this regard, there is necessary of comparison of different material structure and different material properties also the toughness and strength of each material for cheaply and providing better therefore steel structure. The obtained data could be used as guidelines for the application of solar PV plants in other countries with a similar climate.
