This paper studies various data integration technique and challenges to combine different data from different resources in data mining. Data Integration is the combination of technical and business processes to combine data from different sources into meaningful and valuable information. The process of Data integration is about taking data from the different resources (such as file, database, mainframes, etc.) and combine the data for business intelligence. Data integration is needed when a business decides to implement a new application and migrate its data from the legacy systems into the new application. Every data integration techniques come with some challenges so here this paper describe some of the data integration techniques and their challenges. |
