Abstract

In this paper a preliminary estimation of the most common analysis methods of the vibration signals of a lathe machine is tried. The method of condition monitoring of single point cutting tool for lathe machine using fft analyzer is used for vibration analysis. During this process various amplitude graphs obtained. The tested methods are the typical statistical analysis method, the Fast Fourier transform, the frequencies spectrum analysis and the Wavelet method. Further testing under variable and radial loads is under investigation by the present research team before a final conclusion can be made.
