Abstract

That paper presents influence of process parameters on material removal rate (MRR) kerf width and surface roughness while wire electrical discharge machining of titanium grade 5(Ti-6Al-4V). Experiments have been conducted with six process parameters viz., pulse on time, pulse off time, servo voltage, wire feed rate and wire tension. Taguchi’s orthogonal array (L18) was employed for experimental investigation.
