In this paper the analysis for the behaviour & optimal design of counter fort retaining wall and gravity wall in concrete dam. Cost analysis against each design of wall is evaluated by using volume of concrete and amount of steel. A comparative study is carried out & alternative with the least cost estimate is chosen as the best design solution. |
