Abstract |

A number of studies has been conducted to examine factors affecting on project performance in developing countries. The construction industry is complex in its nature because it comprises large number of parties as owners (clients), contractors, consultants & regulators. Contractors have to be capable of continuously improving their performance. The first step involves general information collection, including both first-hand and second-hand data, in order to identify major themes from the literature. Surveys and interviews are conducted, in which a list of important factors for successful performance are identified. With these factors, experts interviews, conducted in second step, are used to decide the most significant factors among them. The main purpose is to improve the performance of construction achieving the economy and give the satisfaction to the construction. |
