Abstract

A novel design of square microstrip antenna is design for triple band operation. The triple band is achieved by inserting the E-slot in the square patch with the bandwidth of 2.95%, 4.78% and 2.54%. When E-slot is replaced by C-slot there is an enhancement in the all three respective bands with a maximum bandwidth of 3.12%, 8.4% and 2.8%. This antenna may find applications in Microwave Communication system.
