Abstract |
|
Vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) is one of the approach used for video data transmission which faces many challenges to transmit video efficiently .This problem is common for various applications in existing routing protocols. To improve vehicle performance and user experience greedy perimeter stateless routing (GPSR) technology in VANET is used. This article focuses on variation in GPSR protocol by utilizing cognitive radio (CR) technology which automatically detects available channels in wireless spectrum. CR can senses spectrum by using neighboring devices, changing frequency, adjusting output power or even altering transmission parameters and characteristics is .Our paper discusses GPSR protocol with cognitive radio (CR) technology in wireless communication systems for vehicles to improve some parameters which are average throughput, delay and packet delivery ratio (PDR). Our simulation result shows varied parameters by validating the impact of CR technology on GPSR protocol. |
