Abstract |

In this paper an attempt is made to design a dish leveling fixture for heads of pressure vessels and storage tanks. The main purpose of making this fixture is to perform the operations like grinding, gas cutting and edge preparation processes before circumferential seam set-up of the head and shell of pressure vessel and storage tanks. This results in reduction of production time and increase in production rate with increase in accuracy. |
