Abstract

As many research works are going on in the field of wastewater treatment, a newly developed wastewater treatment by algae and saline water is gaining much importance. Various parameters like Biological oxygen demand (BOD), Chemical oxygen demand (COD), and Chloride were observed after the treatment. Percentage reduction rate of 78.62(BOD), 54.12 (COD) were observed. This is an environmentally safe alternative for treating wastewater.
